5/17/10 Katie's Healthy Eating Journal: Monday

by Katie (Jenny Craig 2009 Poster Girl) 17. May 2010 22:37

It's strange, last night I was extremely nauseas.  It occurred to me that I may be sick this morning because that is usually how the pattern goes.  Wouldn't you know it, the entire drive to school this morning it was all I could do to keep the puke down.  As soon as I dropped my things off in my classroom I ran to the bathroom and was full-fledged getting sick.  I puked and puked until their was nothing left.  What a bummer - I'm in week 19 and I am still getting sick.  However, have any of you read Jenny McCarthy's book, Belly Laughs?  This book has been my saving grace.  Now of course I'm reading other books written by medical doctors to prepare myself as well.  But, Jenny's book is real and it tells it like it is.  I feel that this blog would be another way for people to read about pregnancy in all it's glory.  I don't want them to be depressing but I do think it's important to be honest about the true symptoms which I do NOT think the medical books completely touch on.  But, first I think I will need to gain some courage to discuss some of the more embarrassing aspects of the pregnancy.  I just think other women don't want to feel like medical freaks.  It would be nice to know that others are experiencing some of the same things as me.
