6 more weeks! It seems so long yet so short when I think of how far I've come. As much as I've had a challenging pregnancy I'm so grateful that I've been able to carry this baby to 34 weeks thus far. I have seen friends and family in recent months experience the incredible sadness of a miscarriage. I can't begin to imagine the pain and grief they are experiencing. I am thankful that I have a great support system of friends and family that have helped me through these trials and tribulations because some days I'm not sure I could've done it without them. My husband has been my rock throughout all the nausea, hormones, and pain. It's got to get old hearing someone complain day in and day out and he has never once acted sick of hearing it. If anything he has been the epitome of compassion and is constantly asking if I need anything. How did I get so lucky? He is not only my husband but my best friend. I am positive that it is not just difficult for the pregnant woman but for the spouse as well. Sorry to go on a tangent about how grateful I am but sometimes I think it is important to acknowledge the ones that love and support you. It's easy to become consumed with oneself during milestones in a person's life such as this; especially when you feel miserable all the time. However it is important to remember all of those incredible loved ones that have helped me get through this as well as "check myself at the door" when it becomes too much "about me." So for all the love and understanding you have shown during this pregnancy I thank you all.
