All the sudden my belly seems to have popped out! I thought maybe it had because I feel like it's harder and harder to fit into my regular clothes. I'm at 15.5 weeks right now and how cool is it that my baby is the size of a softball? A lot of teachers at school have been commenting on how shocked they are that they can see a little baby bump. This makes me excited - if I can't fit into my clothes I would rather get away from the muffin top and get to the large belly where at least people know I'm pregnant, not just fat. It's strange because I find myself hiding behind my clothes. When I wear long, flowy jackets I've caught myself trying to cover my stomach with it. I'm not ashamed at all of my baby bump, but I think I did this so much when I was heavy that it feels like a habit. Isn't that so sad? When I'm talking to friends at school I've even caught myself holding a book over my stomach. I'm so used to hiding my body when I was overweight that it just seems to have come back naturally now that I feel so swollen and bloated from being pregnant. I hope I'm able to overcome this habit and start sporting my bump proudly...
