Jenny Craig has come out with a new program called, "Metabolic Max."  I'm really interested in trying it.  It's some kind of arm band that you wear that tells you your metabolic rate at all times except when you're in the shower.  You download this program and it learns all about your habits (how much you exercise, certain foods you eat, how much you sleep, etc.)  My consultant told me the program recorded her hours sleeping and then informed her that her metabolic rate was slightly low because she did not get enough sleep that night.  If she just would increase her sleep by 45 minutes more per night she will increase her metabolic rate per week.  Pretty interesting stuff...getting more sleep improves your metabolism.  I knew this but I don't think it ever really registered until she was describing this to me.  It costs approximately $150 and you can go on their website to purchase it.  I would like to try it once I have the cash to afford it (lol, which will probably be never!) but if I do I'll have to let you know how I like it.
