Today I got on the scale and it said I'd lost half a pound.  Whoooo!  I'm so glad that traveling for the weekend on "normal" food didn't set me back for my weight loss.  Now I hope the scale says the same thing tomorrow morning.  It always feels like after it shows a loss halfway through the week it ends up going back up.  It sure has been a slow loss since the first initial 20 pounds I lost right after giving birth.  I talked to some "seasoned" moms on how awful FJ was once we got home from Cleveland.  All of them said it was normal and their children were the same way: take them out of their routine and just like adults get tired from traveling; so do kids.  It almost makes you question whether it is worth it to travel with them because they get SO irritable once the experience is over and they're back in their own environments.  I guess I should just be thankful that he slept through the whole drive up and back and was OK while we were at someone else's house!

Can anyone tell me how often we are supposed to give our son the rice cereal at the beginning?  I think his doctor said once a day but I can't remember how long? - until our 4 month check up?  I'm looking forward to feeding him again from a spoon tonight because it was so much fun watching his face.  But...if you're a first time giver of the rice cereal be aware:  the gas and grunting is unreal as their stomachs adjust to the new food in their diet!

1/2 cup organic milk

1 cup coffee with 2 tbsp. fat-free creamer

Snack - 

JC Peanut Butter Anytime Bar

Lunch -

JC Cheesy Potatoes and Chicken

Cauliflower with fat-free ranch

Snack - 


Dinner - 

JC Rising Crust Pizza with mushrooms

Asparagus with 2 tbsp. light balsamic

Snack - 

JC Chocolate Caramel Peanut Butter Bar
