The Hyperbaric Chamber is a thrilling medical advancement that increases your tissue levels of life-giving Oxygen.  HBOT is the combination of breathing 100% Oxygen under pressure.  Under normal "at Sea Level" pressure {1.0 ATA or 14 psi}, oxygen is mainly carried through our bodies by the Red Blood Cells. Under HBOT conditions, there is a massive increase in the amount of oxygen that is carried in ALL of the fluids of our bodies. The areas of compromised blood supply are suddenly Turbocharged with pure Oxygen!

By increasing the amount of Oxygen to our tissues, it is possible to rejuvenate and possibly reverse the damage caused by heart attack, stroke and vascular disease, increase the ability of White Blood Cells to destroy bacteria and eradicate toxins, and aid in wound healing by stimulating the growth of the cells that are directly involved with wound healing, the Fibroblast.

It has also been shown to aid in the treatment of Organic Brain Disorders: Alzheimer’s, Autism, ADD/ADHD, ALS, Migraine Headaches, Traumatic Brain Injury, and help relieve the symptoms associated with: Arthritis, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Lyme Disease, Post-Op Recovery and Wound Healing, Sports Related Injuries.  It can lower the amount of abnormal bacteria in the gut and inhibit the growth of yeast and help with depression and headaches by decreasing the reuptake of serotonin, which mimics the effect of SSRI (an antidepressant)

HBOT is also an effective method of removing toxins. Heavy metals are a well known inducer of oxidative stress and inflammation. Plasma GSS6 is a reliable marker of intracellular oxidative stress and was significantly improved by HBOT at 1.3 ATA and 1.5 ATA. Additionally, HBOT lowered C-Reactive Protein {CRP = a marker of inflammation}.

HBOT has been shown to increase synthesis of nitric oxide in the bone marrow and also shown to mobilize stem cells from the bone marrow of humans into the systematic circulation.
