9/4/15 Katie's Healthy Eating Journal: Sunday

Well, I did it!  I broke through my plateau!  I have one more pound to go according to my scale.  When I weigh in at JC on Thursday I imagine it will say I have 3 more to go.  My own personal goal was to reach 125. I weigh myself in the morning before I've eaten at my house.  But, by the time the afternoon hits my body will weigh more with all the food and liquids you have taken in, hence my weight being a little different at JC.  By the time I hit 125 at JC I will most likely weigh around 123 pounds.  Not bad after 10 months of having a baby, right?  I have almost accomplished what I worried about while being pregnant; that I could never achieve the weight loss I did the first time.

I suggest you weigh yourself at the same time each week.  I weigh myself each morning which I would not recommend if you can help it.  It just causes me to obsess about what I ate the previous day that may have caused me to gain.  The scale is most accurate if you wait a week.  Then you don't become consumed with a number and are just keeping a watchful eye on either maintaining your weight or motivating yourself to lose.  This is easy for me to say but I am forthright with telling you that I can't help it and get on the scale daily which probably isn't the best habit for a girl with an eating disorder.
