I used to order a complicated, high calorie designer drink.. At the time, the drink ran around $3.84, and lord knows what the calorie count. As I worked to bring my food plan closer to the source of the original food (across the board), I started drinking green tea and black coffee at home.  I greatly reduced the addition of calories to my plan for the day, and freed up calories better spent on vegetables, lean protein and whole fruit.  In other words, I gave up the fancy latte, had more money in my wallet, more food on my plate and less fat on my…

Hi !  Win Win Win all the way around !

One of my co-workers suggested I add a pinch of cinnamon into the ground coffee when making my day starter.  Tasted great and gave a little variation to the morning brew.  May be worth trying a few other spices to see if any fit the taste !

Have you looked into BPA ?  Seems to be everywhere.

I heard it was even in our register receipts !

Thank you for the unfailing daily examples of clean living......

You would pay extra for that at a coffee shop, and it costs you little at home!  Its wonderful, Ive done it.  I have read alot about BPA in regards to cans of beans and soup.  You normally have to go to an organic section to find BPA-free cans, but it's worth it, especially if you eat alot of food fom cans.  I'll continue to look into it.  Thanks for the comment.
